À propos du livre
The canyon is a place of majesty and mystery, full of hidden secrets. Within the shadowed spaces are slide rock features that rush with waterfalls during spring snow melt and summer monsoons. There are unique mineral deposits including salt stalactites and miniature travertine terraces no more than a few inches
in size. There are corroded remains of 19th Century explorers’ camps, not to mention archaeological evidence of ancient Native Americans whose descendants still consider the area sacred. My 5 years of living, working and exploring in these realms has been among my greatest blessings. I hope you enjoy and respect her wilderness as much as I have learned to.
