À propos du livre
In the rowdy, bawdy tradition of KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE, comes a film so outrageous they said it couldn’t be filmed. No, really, the director couldn’t film it so he put it in a book instead. One of a handful of un-filmed screenplays from Michael J Heagle, the writer-director of GO TO HELL and TRANSYLVANIA TELEVISION, the raunchy teen cannibal comedy TAKEOUT pops the clutch and asks the question “what’s for lunch?”
In the far-flung future, cannibalism is a way of life, but eating other people proved to be a legal and logistical burden. Enter Fas Flesh, the fast food company with time travel on its side, where you can get prime cuts from any period in human history. It’s Karakk Meglar’s first day on the job, and a time-jump mishap has put him and his crew in the wrong time period: 1985! And it’s prom night!
If Monty Python made a teen time travel movie. If NIGHT OF THE COMET and NIGHT OF THE CREEPS had a backyard cookout, it might taste a little like TAKEOUT.
