The work in this series of paintings is inspired by the musical genius and creativity of Gary Husband and Alec Machacek captured on the recording Now (2013).
I express my deepest gratitude to them for sharing their music.
I have immersed myself in their music over the last 6 years as I have worked on this series of paintings.
I acknowledge with much appreciation the willingness of Souvik Dutta from Abstract Logix for granting permission to use the music from Now.
My hope is that, at least in some small way, I may have honoured their work.
