This book is a whimsical response to a very serious chapter in human life that takes the concept of the UK government’s furlough scheme and applies it to 13 things that were not used by the author during the first month of the COVID-19 lockdown period, which started on March 23rd 2020. It joins the wide range of written, musical and image-based observations about lockdown life made by many other people.
