Sel et Poivre means Salt and Pepper: It is my philosophy of cooking: Fresh ingredients, simple seasonings and cooking techniques can elevate your dishes to new levels. I am a dedicated home cook, self-taught personal chef, certified sommelier and passionate advocate of authenticity and simplicity in the food and wine world. This cookbook was inspired by my childhood, classic French cuisine and international travel. Each recipe was prepared, plated, photographed, tasted in my home kitchen and finally paired with some of my favorite wines.
