The drawings printed in this book are yet again a compilation of mind maps, streams of consciousness and moments in time laid out before you. In many instances, the artist chose to create intentional chaos with random brush or pen strokes and then pull out from the ether what his mind would immediately see in the chaos. Other times, there were very deliberate exercises in commemorating both beauty and form.

Moebius (Jean Giraud) once said that "Drawing is a revelation of the soul, of your personal situation" and "Even if a comic book artist spent his whole life drawing yogurt cups, you would still see his most secret and most deranging sensibilities emerge."

The book was completed during the COVID-19 Pandemic, during the riots and protests as a result of the death of George Floyd. During the massive fires on the west coast, the 2020 election and throughout the pregnancy and birth of the artists son, Jasper. Many of these massive changes can be detected whether intentional or not in the artists work - Beautiful, yet strained or rushed at times, the drawings still remain poignant and connected to a forever changed world.
