À propos du livre
Joanne L. Moran is proud to share her 90 years of experience in this book. She grew up in Hornell, NY during the depression, and as the saying goes, home is where your heart is and Hornell still has Joanne's heart. It's where she still calls home.
She shares her adventures of growing up in more detail in her first book, "The Popcorn Kid". In this, her second book, she shares her adventures as a world traveler and her military life and beyond. She has experienced more in her lifetime than most. You will travel through her life and the time she has spent making history. She is now a proud Air Force Retiree of more than 47 years.
It saddens her that our current generation lacks the knowledge and experiences that history has provided her. The understanding of the traditions and culture that she grew up learning about in her life. She shares some of this in the book.
When Joanne talks about her life, she is known to talk about the differences between the East Coast and the West Coast of the United States. Her military life brought her to the West Coast, where she currently resides, but her heart has and always will be in Hornell, NY.
As a lover of animals, especially rescue animals, she is donating the proceeds of this book to help many of the rescue animal charities she supports.
