À propos du livre
Tantra paintings are intended to be guides for meditation. The primary form is the Yantra. After the void is transformed into the original ocean of consciousness sound vibrations create groups of syllables known as Mantras. Then these sound vibrations can transform into light foundations and the Mantra is translated into the visual image of the Yantra. The form of the Yantra follows a strict and sacred geometry. A square indicates the form of the universe floating in the cosmic ocean. The square extends into four T-shaped gates opening onto the four directions.
