The SunnyHapp and WallyMagg series are for ages 3 to 6, and the child in us all.
Each book begins, “In a land very much like this and not far from here live the SunnyHapps and the Wallymaggs, my dear and which is which will very soon be clear”. Written in amusing rhyme, the characters teach fine manners and positive social behavior. The SunnyHapp is “kind and oh-so polite”, while the WallyMagg may "forget to be a delight." In each book, ranging from “Please" and "Thank You" to future complex lessons such as “Bullying" and “Sharing”, the child is introduced to situations involving the characters and their personalities. The reader / listener is given examples of both acceptable and questionable behavior, then asked…. Are you a SunnyHapp? or a WallyMagg?... thereby inviting discussions and participation
