À propos du livre
“The Botleys of Beaumont County” is a sprawling tale of a deeply rooted Southern family whose traditions and beliefs are challenged in the 21st Century. Colorfully drawn, the story is layered with characters clutching the past even as troubles brought by change threaten their way of life. This is a rich and hopeful story that leaves the reader with dust on their shoes and a light in their heart"

À propos du créateur
Originally from Pennsylvania, Since 2005 Arthur Turfa now calls South Carolina home. He has lived in California, New Mexico, and Virginia, as well as Germany. His travels, studies, and military career have taken him around the world, over the years for personal and Military service. As a second-generation American, the Old Countries are never far from him, even though he is patriotic in the original sense of the word. Certain places are important to him because they have formed him even without his realizing it at the time. Later on he discovered connections between them that he never could have foreseen. People in each of those places have also influenced him. Much of his poetry attempts to honor these people and to show the places to the reader. Turfa combines civilian and military ministry with teaching on secondary and post-secondary levels. These careers gave him countless insights and experience. He is active in writers groups, sharing ideas and reading his poetry.
