This book showcases our travels during 6 days visiting and exploring Venice, Cinque Terre and Portofino. This journey was part of our 36 day journey in Italy in 2006 which we shared with our Kiwi friends Lyall and Wendy. Lyall and Anne planned the trip with almost military precision, which is summarised below by the chart from Lyall. This book is Part 3 of 4 books overall covering this journey to Italy; Book 1 covers Milan, Florence, Rome and Dubai; Book 2 covers our 7 day MSC Cruise from Venice to the Greek Isles and Croatia and Book 4 covers Tuscany including 2 stays at Villa Torre a Cona and Loro Ciuffenna in the Tuscan countryside. These 4 books contain my personal story, told mainly in pictures, which try to capture not only the landscapes, cityscapes, buildings, cobbled streets etc. but also the people and the moods and emotions.
