The Mountains where the lightning can be seen is called Hovenkopf Mountain. The large rock is called pigeon rock on the Ramapo Mountains. Watching a storm come through in Suffern which is 30 miles from Manhattan was amazing. Mother Nature can open our eyes to new beauty. Sometimes in life we go through many storms in which we see the sun shining afterwards.
