À propos du livre
The first and main portion of the book pertains to various aspects of the human condition such as love, joy, anger, sorrow, faith, devotion, hope, ambition, acceptance, contentment, loneliness, grief, guilt, greed, selfishness, individuality, freedom and desire. Each and every poem (41 in all) is juxtaposed with a suitably relevant colour image that depicts the sentiment being alluded to. The second part of the book is a collection comprising 31 of Shobha’s insightful quotations concerning the rapidly deteriorating environment (accompanied by germane images) relating to the perilous state of planet Earth and the various plants and animals that live and depend on it.
This is Shobha’s own description of her book:
Poetry is a revelation from a place deep within where dialogues never cease 'till answers are found'. All of us receive these answers. Some of us respond to these voices from within. Others refuse to hear them. Each time a poem emerges, a storm abates. Peace reigns and once again you feel connected. Deep seated thoughts, convictions, and resolutions manifest at this level. Questions that arise are inevitably answered. This is what I am sharing with you in my collection ‘Dialogues From Within’.
