À propos du livre
Ahoy there ...
Who knows what dangers lie in the depths of our deepest oceans? What strange creatures we may encounter when sailing the seven seas and are there any routes we should avoid to ensure we reach our maritime destinations? From the Devil's Triangle of Bermuda to the Umibozu of old Japan to the decks of deserted ghost ships and many more seafaring superstitions and marvels besides, join Dr Bob Curran and Andy Paciorek in this richly illustrated voyage above and below the wild waves of the wine-dark seas.

Andy Paciorek is a graphic artist, drawn mainly to the worlds of myth, folklore, symbolism, decadence, curiosa, anomaly, dark romanticism and otherworldly experience. He is fascinated both by the beautiful and the grotesque and the twilight threshold consciousness where these boundaries blur. The mist-gates, edges and liminal zones where nature borders supernature and daydreams and nightmares cross paths are of great inspiration.
