À propos du livre
Told with humour, stories around trains with pictures of the models made.
In the first years of the 2020s I started to build miniatures again. I wrote a fictional, satirical, humorous story about characters that might have been involved in the activity at / in the model. I shared with some of my fellow modelers the story with an attached photograph of the completed model. Friends enjoyed the story and started to suggest a book. Then one of the friends, John H. Vincent (JHV), started to do ink drawings of events in some of these stories.
A few years ago Dan Needles invented a man, Walt Wingfield. Mr. D. Needles wrote for a Shelburne, Ontario newspaper and one day when bored, he wrote a humorous piece titled "Letter from Wingfield Farm". The stories in my book are written in this style, as if penned by an employee of a small town newspaper.

À propos du créateur
Alan Fennell
Ontario
Started train modeling at age 08. Currently call it "replication of history in miniature". Doctors ordered me to retire after working for 42 years. Writing Black Angus Droppings, my first book, was a way to survive the first few years of the 2020s.
