À propos du livre
Chicago has a rich and colorful history. Rising anew from the ashes of the Great Chicago Fire back in 1871, it has become a cultural beacon and innovative architectural center. Both early and modern skyscrapers now dominate its skyline. It is a photographer’s dream.
In the following pages, you will see how by flipping, reversing. and arranging my own photos of Chicago, the city has been transformed and reimagined into ever-changing kaleidoscopic medleys of patterns and designs.
I have lived in Chicago for over 40 years and in all that time I have never tired of discovering new things to see, do, and learn about the city. And here is yet another way to appreciate it.

À propos du créateur
Jonathan Franklin
Oak Park, IL
As an artist for over forty odd years, my biggest gig so far has been as the official White House Portraitist. During the past two years, I have had the privilege of painting our DearLeader over a couple dozen times looking his authoritarian best in all kinds of remarkable settings. And now, after much anticipation, I have finally assembled those paintings into a 48 page full-color book that includes personal commentaries, as well. It has been truly an inspiration to be so close and present with the man with the golden touch, who in every sense of the phrase, is Making America Great Again.
