À propos du livre
Living in Southern California has been a hot bed of many inventive and creative events. KitBashers of So. California, a model car club, has been around since 2006. As a model car club we ventured to many local and state events in attempt to support this dying breed of plastic styrene or resin in an art form. We hold monthly meetings in Riverside California. Our club meeting is a place to talk and meet with other model car builders in a refreshing environment conducive to learning and sharing information and ideas. We exist to have fun, share knowledge, promote the hobby and become better all around builders.
By December 2007, KitBashers of So. California was tired of hearing about another model car event falling by the way side. In an effort to stop this from happening again, The Citrus Nationals was born. This book is recognize's the hobby and competition of built scale model cars. A main purpose as a model car builder is to achieve some form of recognition from peers and learn to build a better model for next year’s event.

À propos du créateur
John's first model was a ‘Godzilla’ model at age 9. To this day he builds ‘Drag Cars’ from scratch. For many years he has placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd in competition. In 2002, John became the newest member of the "Dirty Dozen" Award at the Copperstate Nationals. He was interviewed on NBC TV News of Phoenix, Arizona to promote this hobby of building model cars. His models have been photographed countless times in (2) nationally publicized model car magazines. John recently had many smiles added to his life when he helped out the San Bernardino, CA. Children’s Hospital with their Charitable Model Car Event. Lastly but not least, John has been a member of two model car clubs and a current member of another: Classic Plastic of Riverside, CA; KitBashers of So California and his newest current adventure… ‘3.2.1 Club’. Which was born out of the following desire: 3 guys got together with 2 ideas, To build models and have fun with 1 common goal…To promote the hobby.
