About this Publication
Harold Warren was a well known Park County historian. He was a ardent researcher of all aspects of the history an heritage of Park County. However, he also understood that today’s news is tomorrows history.
With that quality in mind, Mr. Warren kept copious files of the news of the day. This publication is a effort to preserve his records.
The records include interviews, newspaper and magazine articles, articles written by local Bailey residents, and, of course, his own writings.
The articles presented here are in no particular order. Many of these articles contain tidbits of information not found in any other publication. They also present a good insight into the life and times of early Bailey residents.
Harold Warren was also the founder and past President of the Park County Historical Society. His legacy continues to thrive due to his love for Park County history and heritage.
