À propos du livre
Canyon Reflections is the artistic culmination of one man’s exploration of one of the most colorful and remote places in the American Southwest. For over twenty years, Don Rommes hiked and photographed in many of the Canyons of the Escalante. During that time, Don experienced flash floods and drought, searing heat and freezing cold, and lost his way more than once. However, most of the time was spent simply hiking in solitude or with family down the colorful and well-watered canyons that lead to Lake Powell.
This book is a compilation of some of the experiences and misadventures, acquired knowledge of natural history, and photographs of beautiful, but hard-to-reach places gleaned from those two decades.
