À propos du livre
Growing up in Brooklyn, Daniela has spent countless days enjoying Coney Island. After rediscovering her love for disposable cameras, she decided to challenge herself to capturing candid moments at Coney Island beginning in late spring of 2021.
Over the course of a year, Daniela returned to Coney Island to photograph the landscape, the beach and essence of neighborhood, studying the locals and tourists alike. Inspired by the work of fellow photographers Helen Levitt, Harold Feinstein, Gisele Duprez and more, her work captures the nostalgia, curiosity and whimsy of the iconic beach and boardwalk.
