I used to dread the dark, winter days in northern Japan, but now I look forward to hiking along the waterways in search for encounters with these beautiful birds even on the dullest, coldest days. This book has a short inspirational narrative accompanying some beautiful photos of wild ducks I have met in Niigata, Japan.
