I am a retiree in his 80s who recently spent a year as a caregiver for my wife in the final year of her life. This experience made me realize how unprepared we were, and how hard it was to find information on where to get help. As a consequence I wrote a series of books called 375 Goodnight Kisses to both share our story and in the hope they will help others who may find themselves in a similar situation. I am also in the process of creating a Case Study so that those in all aspects of health care can gain an awareness of how their attitudes and actions impact the patients and caregivers who are their clients.
