À propos du livre
The subsequent post-processing and formation of a program presentation led to the inevitable development of this second book "Visual Moments in Iceland: A Winter Sequel." Rather than repeating the first book’s in-depth descriptions of place, culture, and the natural world; and the factual descriptions of geological and historical roots, this new book focuses on the sequence of photographs with the associative narrative describing the adventure and experience at each locale. Readers of my first book will recognize similar formatting and the story-like accounts. The verbal depictions include sequencing of the journey, observations, contrasting aspects and impressions of winter compared with summer factors, weather challenges, photographic strategies, as well as perceptions and insights. Chapters on the mindset for photography; winter weather conditions; winter photography; a summary of insights; and photographic equipment, accessories, and clothing provide additional input for the reader. Ultimately, the intent is to tell a story, impart awareness and understanding, evoke the imagination, and offer inspiration.
