À propos du livre
This collection was born from a family trip to the Adelaide Zoo. Armed with my camera, brought along at the last minute, I found myself immersed in the captivating world of the zoo's residents.
What unfolded was a series of portraits that reveal the unique personalities and expressive nature of these incredible animals, captured with the same care and detail typically reserved for human subjects.

My name is Richard. I drink coffee even though I’m not sure I actually like the taste, it just seems to be what people do. Actually, if you have a Coke (no sugar), I’d probably prefer that. I also like long walks on the beach, but I’m getting off the point now. I’ve been photographing professionally since 2008 and to this day I still get a thrill from photographing people. Whether they be getting married or just wanting a photograph of themselves or their families, I love taking beautiful photographs and showing people how the rest of the world sees them, and maybe not how they see themselves. I especially love the connection between the subject (you) and the photographer (me) in an amazing portrait photograph.
