The day before writing my first poem I watched a movie called, “I Heard the Bells”. It was about Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and the true story about the circumstances associated with his writing of “Christmas Bells”. I was so moved by his story that I spent the rest of the day reading many of his writings. It was the next day that I felt led to write my own Christmas poem. This book is a collection of poems I have written in 2023.
