Paul McAlpine is an American photographer known primarily for his photographs of 1970-80’s Rock n’ Roll musicians. He has worked with such artists as Iggy Pop, Aerosmith, David Bowie, Boston, The Cars, Queen, Blondie and many others. His photographs are in the collections of the LACMA, Los Angeles; MFA Boston; Victoria & Albert Museum, London (20210; Rock & Roll Hall of Fame (2022); De Young Museum, San Francisco (2022); Seattle Museum of Pop Culture (2023); San Francisco Museum of Modern Art; Hard Rock Café, as well as various private collections internationally.
