Stripping these straight photographic images of any distinguishable representation should cause some initial unease. As we are all accustomed to believing that what the camera sees is so directly related to the object photographed that they become indistinguishable. Living in the Post Modern world allows us to make very sophisticated visual readings and we are taught culturally to see more that just the thing itself, to give each image its 1000 words. This is the first important question I’m exploring in my photographic work -- challenge the assumption that what is photographed is more important than why.
