À propos du livre
This is the second book in the series from our annual special needs Alternative Prom. This book features the wonderful evening that was our fifth annual Prom! 2010 was a GREAT year for us with just under 100 in attendance. The book features the five Kings and the five Queens of the evening, along with a host of other fun. I hope you enjoy looking at this book as much as I did putting it together!
As our saying goes...What began as a dream, continues as a REALITY!!!

À propos du créateur
I have been married for 28 years. We have 5 children. Three wonderful biological sons, an adopted daughter and a daughter who we are guardians of. Our life is interesting, in a good way. Our second son was born with Down syndrome. We always wanted a daughter, so we adopted our fourth child who also has Down syndrome. Then a few years ago, we became guardians of a teenager with Down syndrome. I have a heart for people with special needs and have a passion for making their lives better. This includes starting an agency which provides integration into our community activities. We also are very active in Special Olympics. We hold an annual Alternative Prom which is awesome, and have our own bowling league. We have plans to begin a post high school educational program starting this fall. As our agency, Ottawa Eagles Rec. & Leisure Org., grows, so do the needs that we identify. We attempt and strive to meet those needs.
