À propos du livre
Project Homeless Connect for Lane County 2010 took place on Thursday, March 18th, 9:00am – 3:00pm at the Lane Events Center at the Fairgrounds in Eugene. The event served 1,402 guests with the help of 228 cash and in-kind donors, 581 community volunteers and 301 service providers representing 106 nonprofits, government agencies and businesses. The need is obvious; 3,971 people were homeless in Lane County during the 2010 One Night Homeless Count. This number includes homeless community members on the streets, under bridges, in parks, at food pantries, day access centers, churches, emergency shelters, transitional housing and other locations (Lane County Human Services Commission 2010 One Night Homeless Count taken January 27, 2010). Pages with Homeless Connect 2010 statistics and other details were taken from the PHC Final Report constructed by Lane County Oregon staff.
