À propos du livre
Sharp, slick business brain Danny, who takes power naps and watches fight scenes on YouTube between phone calls, is ‘Just Sales’. Incorrigible wind-up merchant Paddy does – well, everything else, leading him to tangle with Council Tax Man and the Loss Adjuster(s), and the brothers face various other setbacks along the way.
The venture’s progress is interwoven with funny and heart-warming tales from the brothers’ childhood and later comical episodes with their friends on drunken nightclub outings and the Sunday football field. There is wicked road-rage revenge, a lottery win, possessions that mysteriously move around in a pork-pie factory, and a novel use for breath freshener by the Italian ice-cream man who lives in their broom cupboard.
Will the luck of the Irish smile on the brothers’ new enterprise or will Murphy ’s Law prevail? Who knows, this time next year they could be millionaires …
