À propos du livre
David Morgan considers himself a Social-Documentary Photographer.
He took this practice and documented the work and achievements of adults with learning difficulties who attend Boscawen Farm, a charity managed by Robert Owen Communities, in Cornwall.
The men and women who attend are given the opportunity to lead independent lives in which they are actively involved in running the farm, giving them a real sense of accomplishment, building on their confidence and encouragement to integrate more closely with the local community.
David wanted to explore the old stigma related to those persons who had once been labeled, mentally ill, and try to convey their extraordinary
individuality through his photography.
