The book Realize Your Future, documents an art teacher, a group of students and a chance for the students to express their dreams on canvas. The STAR Community School Mural Project, taught by Elijah Pfotenhauer in Santa Cruz, California, created an opportunity for young people to realize their dreams through art. This book demonstrates the incredible value of art in education as a medium for self-discovery and as a catalyst for cultivating the confidence to persevere in new and unfamiliar disciplines.
