À propos du livre
Photographs featured in this book are from the series Boundaries: The Spaces Between.
This series explores issues of land use and ownership. Not quite public, not quite private, the places documented can be appreciated by many, but accessed by few. There may be much to lure us in, but lines are drawn in the land. Some enforced by law; others by a shared sense of social responsibility. We are tempted to cross them, but these are places only the eye can visit.
10 copies of this book of 10 photographs will be hidden in 10 bookshops in London on 10/10/10.
By placing this publication in bookshops, but making it freely available, I am inviting the reader to cross a line of a different sort. To own this object, they must take it without paying for it.
