À propos du livre
All of the photographs in this book are of the area from Nellysford, Virginia to Livingston, Virginia and the New Land, Virginia. They show this beautiful area in all its glory from spring to fall. The photography is done in the style the photographer likes to call photo (photographic) abstract renderings. The Monroe Institute is highlighted in this book both with photographs and journal entries.
The author and photographer is a transplant from Denver, Colorado. The contrast between the high Rocky Mountains, the open spaces of the plains and the visible deep horizons of Colorado and the deep, hugely varied greens and low worn mountains of the Blue Ride could not be sharper. The photographer and writer tried to capture this great transition.

South Central, Virginia in Faber
Born in 1944 in Bluefield West Virginia, I have two years on the baby boomers. Johnson High School, in Japan, is my alma mater. I have been in every state in the USA and in my middle adulthood I traveled to a great many parts of the world. I spent about 31 years practicing law in Denver, Colorado and I now find myself transported to my early childhood backyard. I love photography and the study of outer space and inner space. I am a product of the 1960's.
