À propos du livre
We thought that it’s neat to save memories in the safety of one book. So after earning a bunch of pictures taken from various occasions, I decided that a picture or story booking would be an excellent way to organize our unforgettable photos to keep. Instead of flipping one piece of photograph after another, turning pages in a book is the most convenient way to browse them in a more structured and organized manner. We just glide and quickly reminisce our wonderful 2010 short trips and experiences as we turn over the pages. As a matter of fact, we didn’t do outward-bound trips or long-hauled flights just to make something out of our simple journeys. No! It’s not that. Though these are merely just short pleasure trips, yet we all have a wonderful time together.
Thinking about our dinner at Elaine and Papa Ed’s place on the very first day of January. Everybody was excited to go and drove along despite of the raging snow and blistery cold weather condition. Such gathering was fun and memorable for my family. Besides having sumptuous meal that Elaine prepared we enjoyed a little game that we played after.
Obviously, the three girls, Hannah, Rachel, and Laurynn are fond of horses I think. They kept bubbling on about our afternoon sleigh ride in the late winter whenever they remembered it. Few months after that, was our trip to Williams Lake to watch their 2010 stampede. My first time to ever see that particular event, and it’s awesome. Some of their shows actually rouse tension out of my nerves, especially watching how much longer those cowboys can stay on the bucking bull before the beasts throw them off.
Another unforgettable experience was the road trip with papa Ed when we went fishing at Tatuk Lake. The road was long and so our conversation was an endless stream as well. Going on a trip like this with papa Ed was a chance for me to see a deeper friendship in him. We had such a wonderful time fishing out there. Not long after that, we went with Juhan to Kuyakuz Lake. This time we camped there for a couple of nights and fished all day. And in between breaks we discussed things spiritually. Very enlightening.
These are our various amazing trips and short hangouts captured in pictures. This collection of photos are cautiously captured and kept meticulously safe for any future usage and project like the making of this book. Elaine and papa Ed are two thoughtful and caring parents who inspire my time and effort from the making to the complete printing of this book. My heartfelt compliment is expressed innumerably like stars in the sky to both of them for counting my family in these exclusive jaunts. They are both wonderful friends in which their conviviality and comradeship have always been treasured by heart.
