Jim made every attempt to make sure he captured every aspect of the “Journey” possible. “I know I was bound to miss someone”, said Jim. He shot over 500 photos during the 4 day event. Jim also designed the logo for all of the printed promotional material that was handed out to various people and businesses.

Families are treated to the Ultimate Christmas Reality Experience.
They become part of the true story of Christmas as they travel the road to Bethlehem. An OUTDOOR journey through a wooded area on the Forest Hill Christian Church property. Nearly 300 people in costume as they interact with Wise Men from the East, shepherds tending their sheep, Old Testament prophets, marketplace vendors, travelers, and even roman Soldiers. Children especially enjoy the LIVE ANIMALS – including camels, donkeys, llamas, horses, sheep, and chickens. They encounter the Christ Child in a way that impact their lives for years to come!

The Journey to Bethlehem is absolutely FREE OF CHARGE! This is Forest Hill's gift to the community! The Journey ends as you enter the Winter Wonderland and warm up with complimentary refreshments. In 2007 there was an attendance of over 5,200 people and it grows every year.
