À propos du livre
In 1758 as a preface to Benjamin Franklin’s Poor Richard’s Almanack, The Way of Wealth was first published. The Way of Wealth was a collection of all his previously published thoughts and quotes on how to be successful in business. This collection of verses and dialect contains some of the most popular quotes and sayings still used to this day. This publication is still just as widely used and true to date as it was in the 1700’s. It has been rewritten and translated in hundreds of literary work for almost every language and culture. Our rendition of the story is set at the beginning of the Great Depression of the 1930’s at a farmer’s market in a small town called Jackson, Louisiana. The characters are turn of the century African-Americans living in the Deep South. The values and proverbs shared in this tale cross all racial, ethnic, social, and financial barriers. No matter the background or demographics of the individual the lessons expressed in this story will change your life and increase your opportunities for prosperity.
