À propos du livre
Chestnutwold Elementary School
welcomed Paul Downie, Artist-in-Residence,
to join its students in designing and creating a three-part mural for the school over the course of 2010.
In the spring and fall, Mr. Downie held a series of assemblies to interact with the students, generate ideas for the mural's theme, and have students submit their own drawings to be used as inspiration for the imagery.
He then worked with all of the students as they painted the entire mural themselves,
each having a piece of the mural to call their own.
