The Way I See It ... is an instructional and elegant coffee table book featuring the photography of Dave Black. This large format book contains 50 image spreads from Dave's work with Sports Illustrated, Time, Newsweek, ESPN, and National Geographic. As a professional photographer since 1980 Dave has worked on assignment for such magazines as Sports Illustrated, Time, Newsweek, and ESPN. Career highlights include coverage of the NFL, the Masters, the Kentucky Derby, and 12 Olympic Games. His work using strobe lighting and in particular the creative lighting technique of Lightpainting has appeared in books and projects by the National Geographic and a variety of commercial clients. He is a frequent guest lecturer and photographic workshop instructor who enjoys the process of helping people learn about photography.
