This is the first book of the blog of the same name – Adventures in the World. It contrasts two wonderful journeys:



The first is set in winter and describes the fun of crossing the USA and Canada by rail, a journey of some 10,000 kilometers.



The second details the experience of cruising the Mediterranean in a sunny autumn, from Barcelona in Spain to Venice in Italy.
