À propos du livre
The genesis of this book began years ago while flying over the Philadelphia Cricket Club's campuses in a small Cessna 172 on the way back to Wings Field from aerial photography shoots over Philadelphia. Every time I flew over the Club I was struck by how remarkable and different each component of the Club appeared from the air. When you fly over a golf course at low altitude you see the course layout in it's entirety and each hole presents itself in a way impossible to see from the ground. The exciting part about being an aerial photographer is presenting the viewer with perspectives they've never seen before but combining these aerial photographs with Dr. Michael Hurdzan's foreword explaining the design elements of each golf course and a guide to playing each hole by Jim Smith Jr. offers the reader an expanded understanding of these golf courses which they think they may already know.

À propos du créateur
Call or email me if you are interested in publishing a book featuring your golf club. These golf club books are large format coffee table books featuring color aerial photographs of every single hole on the golf courses, the clubhouses and wide angle aerials showing the entire golf course. These aerial photographs of every inch of the golf courses and club grounds are accompanied by a club history, commentaries on the course design style from prominent golf course architects and a hole by hole description of the golf course. This is the first time this book format has been applied to a golf course and captures the character of the club and course in way that was neither possible or economical before digital photography and print on demand publishing. You may be surprised by how affordably and quickly you can have one of these books completed. Call for more information 215-760-5132.
