À propos du livre
This book in a photo journal of a trip made in March/April of 2008 to South Africa & Zambia. Both counrties are so unique. South Africa proved itself to be the economic hub of Southern Africa. At once stunningly beautiful and desperately struggling. Zambia, on the other hand, seemed a quaint backwater. Slow moving, quiet and quietly stable. Beautiful in it's untouched nature and moving in the sincerity of it's people.

Avid, life long Traveller. Inspired at a young age by my Uncle, I hit the road with a backpack at 19. That first trip went on for over a year and took me around the world. As anyone who's tried it knows, this kind of travelling is addictive. Now work keeps me on the road. But I never tire of getting a feeling for the way people live. What makes them tick. Using broken Chinese and body language to spend an afternoon hanging out with a bunch of old guys at a rural Chinese truck stop teaches me more about a culture than a thousand museums or films. And the fun I have doing it can errase a year of 9 to 5 drugery. These photos are my window to those illuminating times.
