À propos du livre
Some are smaller than basketballs and can be thrown through windows, some are big enough to tear open a car. Some run on six legs, some can fly around and bounce of walls. In some way, they can all save human lives, be it by finding those in distress, by warning of unseen hazards or by reducing the need for humans to be placed in harm's way.
Rescue robots are coming out of the lab, out of the nursery and we are beginning to see their abilities develop. As we watch them take their place in the world, we can imagine their future potential to benefit humanity.
Join us as we explore, through photographs and commentary, these early life stages, the early childhood of rescue robotics.
