À propos du créateur
Award-winning, self taught photographer, Teresa Neptune first picked up the camera as a teenager living in Paris. She took to the street with her father's Pentax loaded with Tri-X film and began her lifelong love of black-and-white, street photography. Her photographs have been reviewed in B&W Magazine, CameraArts and the New York Times wrote up her "Flooded Desert" exhibition as the best in Santa Fe in 2007. She exhibits her photographs in Santa Fe and Chicago. Her work is in the permanent collections of The National Museum for Women in the Arts, Washington DC, The State of NM - Art in Public Places, The Historic Santa Fe Foundation and US Equities, among others. Neptune says, "My work is basically street photography even when the street becomes a trail or disappears altogether. My joy is to capture fleeting relationships that exist for one moment and are gone forever". She is the recipient of the Willard Van Dyke Grant in Photography awarded to her in 2005.
