This is a collection of nature and landscape photographs I have taken over a 30+ year period. It's just the very start. I have so much more to show. But, rather than simply showing the photographs, I decided to write cutlines describing what I felt, what I thought, what I observed, before and during the actual capture. A large amount of my photography was created alone, but a substantial amount was shot nearby, while my family was young, growning up and maturing. So it was only natural to feature my family in this book, because their experience of nature and the out-of-doors gave me reason and purpose to get out and photograph. This book is a sample of what I though and felt as I pursued my photography. It's a photography book. But, even more, it's a celebration of my family, most importantly.

Len Holland is a professional photographer, writer, editor, & executive consultant. He is recently retired as Manager with the Association of Edison Illuminating Companies (AEIC), an association of public and private electric utilities. He worked with AEIC for 32 years. Additionally, he is retired from Alabama Power Co. after serving 32 years. At Alabama Power, he held management positions in the Advertising & Public Relations Department's advertising and internal communications areas, Corporate Training Department, and other corporate units. He created and managed the Media Production Group, providing graphic, photographic, editorial & television production services. His photography has been published in Country, Blue Ridge Country, Petersen's Photographic, Reminisce, Powergrams & other magazines; and in calendars, advertisements, brochures, annual reports, travel guides, & corporate books. His photography is held in private, professional, corporate, and government collections.
