David Micheal Hinnebusch wrote MY EYE! in 1971 at the age of 8, was living in Nairobi, Kenya in East Africa. While his Father worked on his dissertation in African Linguistics, David took it upon himself to write as well. In the two years that his family lived in Africa, David wrote 2 full novels, MY EYE! being the 1st, and a series of short stories, all about orphan children going on adventures.
