Six friends from South Carolina travel south in search of the peacock bass. They discover an entire new world of jungles and rivers, replete with unfamiliar inhabitants and exotic animals both in the water and on land.

Along the way, they make new friends, experience a new and different culture, and learn a little more about themselves.
