À propos du livre
The text and photographs describe a busy four months of the demolition of buildings, and the commencement of the reconstruction of some buildings. No words can adequately describe the difficulties of dealing with insurance companies, the government, the local government, lawyers, and the Earthquake Commission. One had problems proving exactly who I was to all of the foregoing that curiously had never encountered problems accepting my taxes and premiums in years past ! The New Zealand government purchased my shattered house on the 26th October 2012, and it was demolished on the 4th March 2013, but that's described in detail in the following volume entitled Earthquakes 7 !
