À propos du livre
This book contains photographs taken in San Francisco, (California) during the summer of ‘08.
As I was post-processing them, I realized that a certain amount of pictures looked better in black & white rather than in colour. Though it is true that B&W pictures don’t portray the world the way it actually is, in photography, the photographer’s vision of the world and sharing it with the viewer is more important than what reality looks like.
Nonetheless I have to admit that some of the pictures featured here could perfectly be reproduced in colour too, but in order not to make this book too short, I opted for B&W, not as filler but as complementary material.
