Since digital imaging has made manipulation much more accessible, there continues to be much debate about what is photography. Many of the prints in the exhibition are obviously montages – but even the landscapes which appear to be “straight” have been manipulated to some degree (perhaps no more than would have been done in a traditional darkroom).
